About

Historical Fiction.  300 pages.  Set in World War One, this book is the first in 'The Uninvited Warrior' series and introduces the main character Robert Green, member of the Australian Imperial Force, sniper, soldier extraordinaire, and Australian Aboriginal.

In this work it is July 1916, and Green faces a terrible challenge.  Having survived the Gallipoli campaign, he is seconded to MI6 for a secret mission behind enemy lines in France.  His mission is to assassinate Colonel Nicoli, influential German nobleman and head of the German Secret Service.  Should he succeed, the war could well be shortened.  Should he fail, Europe will continue to burn.

To reach his target Green must first endure the danger of the war in the air, the maelstrom of the Battle of Pozieres, and the treachery and deceit of the world of politics and espionage.   Ultimately his mission will deprive him of almost everything he cares for, save that of his honour.

Praise for this book

Great read. It felt like you could visualise the actual surrounding scenery. Very good story line of believable clarity to be a true story of the deeds of individuals in the great war. Well written.
